I've just began my new adventure as an Independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  I've been stamping for a few years now and have consistently favored the Stampin' Up products.  I was having a great time with our little Stamping group in my area until the demonstrator resigned.  That left me desolate without my play group.  Since I've been following Stampin' Up for quite a while, I researched and decided to become a demonstrator myself so I could have the parties and invite friends and anyone interested to join my little band of Stampers. 

I've just ordered my starter pack, which should arrive tomorrow!  In the meantime, I've began planning and preparing for workshops and am featuring the card below, which contains some of my favorite retiring items.


This card features Crushed Curry cardstock, retiring designer series paper with Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, and Crushed Curry colors. 

The Stamp set is the retiring Happy Home set which features 3 different scenes that fit perfectly behind the retiring Hearth & Home Thinlits window. 

The stamped image was colored using sponge daubers and Old Olive ink for the grass and Marina Mist ink for the sky (In retrospect, I wish I had used Bermuda Bay).

Just for fun, I punched out a balloon from the retiring Party Wishes bundle and included in my window.

To emphasize my sadness that this beautiful set is retiring, I added the Missing You sentiment also from the Happy Home stamp set, and cut it out with the retiring Word Window punch....sigh.
