The new Stampin' Up Thoughtful Branches Bundle has separate stamps for the tree trunks and the foliage. My last card showed the Evergreens and now I'd like to show you these cute little trio of trees.
The card base is Pool Party and the DSP coordinates having Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, and Basic Black. An oval was die cut from the Crumb Cake layer, then the Crumb Cake embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder and inked with Chocolate Chip running a sponge dauber over the grain. A frame was cut using the nesting ovals. The image is stamped with Crumb Cake tree trunks and Pear Pizzazz leaves on Very Vanilla cardstock. Though not really visible in the picture, the grass is stamped with Pear Pizzazz and Always Artichoke. I like to use the 2 different colors to create light and dark pieces of grass to appear more realistic.
I've made several cards with this set, and I still can't decide which is my favorite.
