I’m excited to share with you a new line of creative products called the Kits Collection by Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Up! has taken the guess work out of creativity and done the hard parts, and you get to do the fun stuff: craft! Each kit is all-inclusive and includes the predesigned projects, preprinted pieces, and even the adhesives you need to complete the projects.  Some kits will have stamp sets and the opportunity to do your own stamping.  Those kits will include a stamping block and an ink spot.  Other kits don't require stamping at all, so you just get to assemble beautiful projects.  The kits are great, because they include everything you need to make the projects.

There’s a wide variety of kits for all different occasions, and new kits will be added regularly.  Kits are available only while supplies last! 

Pick the kit that’s right for you.  We will be using the Sentimental Rose card kit for an IN PERSON event this month.  If you are interested, please let me know.  Our in-person events will be limited to 4 people and be held outside in my yard.

This is just what I needed- some masculine cards with a baseball theme.  I absolutely do not have anything like this is my stash of stamping goodies, yet I do have men in my life that love baseball.  These make the perfect birthday card or any occasion card for them.  I love using the Paper Pumpkin kits as a starting point for my creative projects.  They give me inspiration as well as some items that I may not have thought to have in my stamping supplies.

I was wrong and I admit it.  It isn't the first time and won't be the last.  I did not think I would like Paper Pumpkin so I neglected to try it and neglected to tell you all about it.  I'm sorry about that now.  I have had so much fun with my little mini 3 month subscription that I have now gotten a 12 month subscription.  This little box of self-contained fun has been awesome.  There are just some days that I don't have the creativity going or don't want to even try to design something, but these projects come with everything you need in one fun-filled box.  And even better, once i see the projects pre-designed for us, I can then just pull stuff off my work surface and create something as different or as similar as I want.  Wow!  Who knew being wrong could be so fun!  And knowing that I can skip a month or more whenever I want, by suspending my subscription makes the subscription so much more appealing.

Cutting and Scoring
  • Pear Pizzazz card base - 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”
  • Soft Suede mat (2) - 5 1/4” x 4”
  • Balmy Blue - 4” x 3”
  • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4” x 2”
  • Basic White - 2 1/2” x 1/2”, 5 x 3 3/4”
Instructions
  • Layer Soft Suede on outside and inside of card
  • Layer DSP on left side of Soft Suede panel on card front.
  • Use Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder to dry emboss the Balmy Blue and layer on card front
  • Stamp sentiment onto small Basic White rectangle using Soft Suede.  Use soft small tree top to stamp with Soft Sea Foam onto sentiment rectangle; Die cut; Adhere to top right of Balmy Blue embossed rectangle
  • Die cut 2 tree trunks from Soft Suede and adhere to Balmy Blue panel
  • Die cut large and small solid tree tops from DSP; Die cut detailed large and small tops from DSP and adhere over solid tree tops.
  • Adhere large tree top over first tree trunk; pop up smaller tree top on second tree top
  • Add metallic pearls
  • Use Soft Suede to stamp tree trunk on lower left of Basic White inside panel stamping off first.  Stamp smaller Detailed tree top with Pear Pizzazz on tree stamping off first;  Stamp softer tree top with Flirty Flamingo over Pear Pizzazz stamping off first
  • Adhere to inside of card over Soft Suede mat.

Cutting and Scoring
  • Pear Pizzazz card base - 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”
  • Soft Suede mat (2) - 5 1/4” x 4”
  • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4” x 2”
  • Basic White - 4 1/4” x 3 1/4”, 2 1/2” x 1/2”, 5 x 3 3/4”
  • Soft Sea Foam- 2” x 1”
Instructions
  • Layer Soft Suede on outside and inside of card
  • On  4 1/4 x 3 1/4” Basic White, stamp Soft Suede tree trunks, the second  slightly lower than the first
  • Layer DSP on left side of Soft Suede panel on card front.
  • Stamp larger, more detailed tree top with Soft Sea Foam on first tree; Stamp larger softer tree top with Flirty Flamingo over Soft Sea Foam
  • Stamp smaller, more detailed tree top with Pear Pizzazz on second tree.  Stamp smaller, softer tree top with Soft Sea Foam over Pear Pizzazz
  • Use soft smaller tree top to stamp grass across bottom of trees
  • Die Cut with largest scalloped rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly dies
  • Layer on card front.
  • Die cut Soft Sea Foam rectangle
  • Stamp sentiment onto small Basic White strip and die cut.
  • Layer Soft Sea Foam rectangle over trees panel; pop up sentiment with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Use Soft Suede to stamp tree trunk on lower left of Basic White inside panel stamping off first.  Stamp smaller Detailed tree top with Pear Pizzazz on tree stamping off first;  Stamp softer tree top with Flirty Flamingo over Pear Pizzazz stamping off first
  • Adhere to inside of card over Soft Suede mat.

Cutting & Scoring: 

• Pear Pizzazz – 8 ½” x 5 ½” score at 4 ¼” for Landscape cardbase

• Basic White (2) – 5 ¼” x 4” for inside and outside 

 

Instructions:

• Stamp tree trunk with Soft Suede about 1/3 from left edge at bottom of panel; stamp another tree trunk about 2/3 from left edge allowing a small portion of the bottom of the tree trunk to be off the bottom of the panel creating a shorter tree

• Stamp larger more detailed tree top with Soft Sea Foam on first tree onto Basic White panel.  Stamp larger softer tree top with Flirty Flamingo over the Soft Sea Foam

• Stamp smaller more detailed tree top with Pear Pizzazz on second tree.  Stamp smaller softer tree top with Soft Sea Foam over Pear Pizzazz

• Stamp sentiment in upper left corner

• Stamp small dots randomly with Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sea Foam, Flirty Flamingo.

• Using the smaller, softer tree top, stamp with Pear Pizzazz along the bottom edge for grass

• Add metallic pearls for embellishment as desired

• Adhere stamped panel to Pear Pizzazz card front

• Use Soft Suede to stamp tree trunk on lower left of 2nd Basic White panel stamping off first.  Stamp smaller detailed tree top with Pear Pizzazz on tree stamping off first; Stamp softer tree top with Flirty Flamingo over Pear Pizzazz stamping off first.

• Adhere panel to inside of card
